Is there still a bedbug problem in New York City?

I'm not quite sure if there is or not - I'm heading over in three weeks and I'm taking a silk/satin kind of slip to sleep in - they roll up like a tiny little sleeping bag and they just protect you from anything that couldnt possibly be there! almost 10 years ago

Recommendations for Bubble Tea in Sydney?

This is probably too late but for next time you visit sydney... bubble tea - in china town there is an easy way shop on every corner (at one junction i know there is 3 shops within 100 metres!) gumballs also sell bubble teas (i prefer these over easy way) and then little asian shops everywhere sell them! over 10 years ago

How to avoid bedbugs in the following cities: London, New York, and Los Angeles? Which hotels is best to avoid?

hey, i just visited new york (got back 5 days ago) had no issues - at Columbus Circle Hostel. However, my cousins before i left bought me a great little thing that cancels it all out (well at least in the bedding aspect) - it is like a sleeping bag, but it is just a satin slip - can get them at any travel store and it was really great - i found i actually slept better in it (no idea why) and despite being super thin, it actually keeps you a lot warmer as well. It was really handy, super light and it rolls up into a tiny little package half the side of a rolled up t-shirt - definitely worth getting. also, i'm fairly sure there are a few websites that tell you where has definitely been affected (from people's experiences) and that kind of thing - just google search it! almost 10 years ago

When is the best time to visit new York and where is the best place to stay?

i've been twice - february and april. I much preferred february as it wasn't as windy, it was a lot easier to rug up in thermals and coats etc and it was a lot quieter (no long lines for tourist things) but the cold isn't unbearable - and the snow is absolutely beautiful! over 9 years ago
