I've got one week to spend in Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam, any ideas what to do for 7 days?

There are also the Cu Chi tunnels near Ho Chi Minh city that are worth a visit and the War Remnants museum that displays weapons systems, photography and other items from the war. As for Cambodia, we spent 5 days there recently and visited the genocide museum (aka S-21) and killing fields in Phnom Penh and then travelled up to Siem Reap to see Angkor Wat and the other nearby temples. This was probably the best part of the trip and Cambodia is worth seeing even if you don't visit the tourist locations. almost 10 years ago

Long weekend in Tasmania - what to do / where to go?

If you intend on visiting the East Coast, I'd recommend the Freycinet Peninsula (http://www.puretasmania.com.au/default.asp?pID=72). Although this area of the coast is popular to tourists, it is with good reason. Wineglass bay is a must if you visit Freycinet. It takes approximately 45 minutes to walk to the viewpoint from the carpark to look out over Wineglass bay (you may also want to walk to the top of Mt Amos - a couple of hours from the car park - the view is impressive). It takes about 30 minutes (one-way) to walk into the bay from the viewpoint. You can find more information here: http://www.travelaus.com.au/travel-guides/tasmania/wineglass-bay.asp about 10 years ago
