What are some things to see in Buenos Aires?

You definitely need to stay in the downtown area because you can walk everywhere. On Thursdays the mothers of the disappeared still do their walk in the afternoons, and this is an amazing political (safe) thing to see. They march with their signs of the children they lost from the Dirty War and it is in front of the Pink House. Around there you can see churches and old buildings. Definitely see the Tango show, especially in the local halls for true Tango. The touristic shows do a lot of acrobats and its not as sensual. almost 11 years ago

Is Central America safe to travel through?

Recently there have been a lot of controversies within Belize and Honduras. I have spoken to people from Honduras and they said with the government, they wouldn't travel right now. Belize is find in the tourist areas, but you don't want to travel to far away. If your Spanish is good, then you are a bit better off. I wouldn't travel between the countries, except by plane, which is pricier. almost 11 years ago

Where is the finest rum in Puerto Rico?

My favorite rum from Puerto Rico is Don Q. If you go to Old San Juan, you can go to the Don Q museum (samples are given) and then you can take a ferry to the Bacardi distillery. Make sure that you get a mojito before you leave Viejo San Juan...most places make a really good one:) about 9 years ago

What is interesting to see/do in San Juan?

There is much to keep you busy in San Juan. Make sure you visit old San Juan, you can enjoy the architecture, the shopping, and dining. el moro is the fort where you can spend a few hours in there, i'm not a history buff, but this fort is fantastic. El yunque is the closest rainforest. You can get out of the car and walk to the waterfall. La ventana by Condado often has open air events. If you like gambling and night life, hotel San Juan its great. Puerto Rico is one of my favorite places because there's so much culture and lots to do, enjoy. almost 8 years ago

    Is Grenada expensive?

It depends on what you're plans are to do. If you're staying with a friend or boating down, then no. hotels are expensive on grand Anse, but for topical USA beach hotel prices you can stay at Grenada grand or lance aux Epines cottages. I prefer lance aux Epines because its near prickly bay pizza, which is best on Friday with steel drums at 6 and a band at 8. They make good drinks as well. Cars can be expensive, you can safely walk must places and Ray 4734037464 was always my taxi driver, made sure I got home safe and even checked on my house when strangers were hanging around. I lived there for two years as a student and am truly missing how nobody is a stranger. Feel free to ask any other questions, I can go on for days. almost 8 years ago

what is the best way to exchange currency AUD to Fiji?

If you are staying in a hotel/resort they will exchange money for you. I was using USD to Fiji and it was quite simple. The Travelex places charge more than the hotels, from my experience, but this was about 6 years ago. over 9 years ago
