What would an average quarterly electricity bill cost in Sydney for a one bedroom apartment?

For the Dec. quarter I paid ~$375. 2 persons, moderate use of clothes dryer, almost no heating/air con, gas used for cooking. TV & Print media reports (sensationally perhaps..) that household electricity costs will increase 10-20% in 2010. about 9 years ago

What can't I miss driving from Sydney to Byron Bay, and once I'm there what do I HAVE to see/do?

Coffs Harbour is nice. There's a really good restaurant/cafe right on the beach/jetty with beautiful views of the ocean called Ocean Front Bar Brassiere. Turn right off the Pacific Highway and follow the main road, Harbour Drive until you get to the water. . almost 9 years ago

Whats good to do for a weekend in Sydney? I only have limited time

You could do the cliche tourist things (which are still fun imo!) the aquarium has just some Dugongs in, beautiful & ancient animals, definitely worth checking out. Or you could also catch the ferry over to Taronga Zoo, another nice day trip. If you have a car you could head up to the northern beaches, Palm, Newport, Whale - all very nice. If not, you could catch a ferry up to Manly. Heading out to Bondi would also be cool, you could do some shopping at Westfield at Bondi Junction which is a huge shopping centre, everything you could want plus more. It's very to Oxford Street, where there is lots more quality shopping to be done, however, you'll find more fashion and boutique shops in this area. As the weather has been pretty ordinary lately maybe some shopping might be a better option than planning on spending lots of time at the beach. You can get to Bondi via Oxford st on the 333, 380 & 381 buses which leave Elizabeth St. If you are in the city I would recommend checking out the botanical gardens and maybe walking around to Woolloomoolo/Potts Point and maybe even other harbour suburbs, Elizabeth and Rushcutters Bay, beautiful spots + lots of nice little cafes. about 10 years ago
