Where is the best limoncello in Italy?

Sorrento and Capri... Crema di Limoncello is my favorite (creamy limoncello), but it came from Sardinia. It can be made pretty much anywhere, and doesn't have to come from a certain area to be called "Limoncello". Best enjoyed as an after dinner digestivo. almost 8 years ago

Any advice on a place serving good barbecue in Nice and Florence !

Hmmm. BBQ isn't exactly a speciality of Italian cuisine, but in Florence, bisteca fiorentina is the speciality if you like steak. For BBQ I recommend a trip to the southeastern United States. almost 8 years ago

    Rome to Florence trIn

You are going to have an issue with lots of luggage. The trains do not have much space, unless you can sling them into the overhead storage (not big suitcases). The first class tickets will be more expensive (obviously) but you'll have more room to spread out. For train times and ticket prices check trenitalia.it almost 8 years ago

Train from Rome to Florence to Venice.

You might try hostelworld.com. you can book the hostels in advance, and even pick the type of accommodation you want. Showing up without a reservation can be risky, but November is not the busiest time of year. The train tickets are always best purchased at the station either day of, or up to a few days before. The only thing the web page is good for is checking the schedules and routings. Most major stations have interactive ticketing machines, but cash is the best way to buy. Most people have issues with credit cards, both online, and with the machines. almost 8 years ago

    Trains in italy

You need to know that the sienna train station is NOT in the central part of the city. You will need to use additional public transport (bus/taxi) to get to the city centre. The trains are NOT always late as indicated in the previous post, but delays are not uncommon. trenitalia.it is your best source for prices/schedules. For exploring Tuscany, as a resident, recommend a rental car, unless you only plan to stick to major cities, in which case parking will be challenging to say the least. almost 8 years ago

What is a good backup currency to bring to Morocco?

Euro and USD are both readily accepted. Euro, being worth more, because of proximity to, and Morocco's stance toward, will get you further. It is also just as easy to withdraw Dirham from any ATM machine with your local bank card. Be sure to notify your card's issuing bank, and watch the on screen instructions to avoid having the machine eat your card. Basic knowledge of French will go a long way. almost 8 years ago

Where to go in Manama , Bahrain ?

Grand Mosque is the major monument to see. Tours are available. City Centre Mall and Seef Mall for shopping. "Tree of Life" is a good one to check off your list as well. Probably a good idea to get a nice overview of the Dilmun Ancient Civilization, and Bahrain History at the National Museum. Check out the Bahrain Fort as well. almost 8 years ago
