    italian restaurant

La Spezia at London Bridge, right at the turning onto the road into the station used to be good. There was another on Lambs Conduit Street in Holborn but the name slips my memory at the moment. over 10 years ago

Where can I listening a good british rock live in London?

There's lots of places in Camden that have live music every night along Camden High Road. You'll also find a place in Covent Garden called the Road House which does have covers bands on but also a cheesey disco type dance floor which is very touristy. over 10 years ago

    Travel Insurance

Thanks Tas, I ended up with a company called Flexicover.com who allow trips up to 100 days on an Annual Worldwide Multi Trip policy, think the max is 183 days per year which is the only downside I can see. over 10 years ago

What are the best places to see, given 1 month to travel around the UK?

That's a massively broad question Teresa. Depends when excatly you're coming and what kind of thing you're into. A little more detail from you and I can give a lot more relevant information! over 10 years ago

2 Days in Bangkok - What should I do??

Rich, That Banyan Tree place is AMAZING!! Easily one of the most unique bars I've ever been to! Anyone else heading to Bangkok you have to go and you have to get there for sunset. We just missed the sun actually setting but even so for the half hour afterwards it was incredible. Oh and the Long Island Iced Teas are potent!!! over 10 years ago

Has anyone got any advise on travel to Egypt ?

I went 2 years ago on my own and had a fantastic time. Ok I'm a guy but it's no worse than Turkey, or other similar tourist places. The only hassle you'll get is from street vendors or people trying to lure you into their shops. Worse comes to worse if you do feel intimidated do as a couple of girls did with me and make a male friend who will be your surrogate guy when you feel the need. If you're blonde and attractive the hassle will be worse but then you'll equally make that male friend easier... ;) over 10 years ago

Anyone know of how to get from Koh Samui to Phuket??

From what I know there is a regular service offered by at least 2 airlines direct from Samui to Phuket. If not available or out of your price range there are apparently a variety of options to get you across the mainland and most tour operators in both Phuket & Koh Samui could fix you up very easily with a ferry and bus. over 10 years ago
