Which is the best, easiest, cheapest or quickest Visa run options from Phuket?

Cheers for that. And in case anyone else needs info. The company I used was called Phuket Business & Legal who did the trip in a 9 seat "VIP" air-conditioned minibus. It was actually not too bad. The trip cost 1500 Thb and included everything from water and a few snacks on the bus to a stop at a Thai roadside restaurant in Ranong, the $10 US at the border crossing and the boat across to Myanmar. It also had a DVD and TV on board. It took from 6am to about 6.30pm Don't expect to make too many friends on the trip though. My bus was like riding along on a day trip with Norman Bates, Gary Glitter and Fred West.... I'm sure some of them had family members locked up in their basements by the looks of them! over 11 years ago

What is the best way to get from Toronto to Niagara Falls? Should I rent a car? or is there a fairly cheap and quick shuttle I could catch?

Hi Magik, I agree with Herk. There's loads of nice places to see along the way, as well. If you're into aircraft or aviation at all. (not everyone is but I am a bit of a geek when it comes to that stuff) Then there is a great museum at Mt Hope near Hamilton. There used to be a really good Go-Kart track there as well but its a few years ago now.. You can also get off the highway and cruise down Lakeshore which is much nicer with lots of interesting things to discover along the way. about 11 years ago

How many days to visit Edinburgh?

I've only been once and did pretty much most of it in that time. Old town and Castle. Would say 2 would be plenty although getting out of town into the countryside for a day, maybe Loch Lomand or the Firth would also be worth doing. There's also a huge dry ski slope about 8 miles out of the city which apparently is a great day. over 11 years ago

What are the best places to visit in Eastern Europe?

Agree with the touristy comment about Prague, far too many British stag do's have ruined it for proper tourists and the locals really don't appreciate what has happened these days. Warsaw was amazing, fantastic architecture, friendly people (mainly) and quite accepting of tourists. Definitely worth checking out. over 11 years ago
