I am going to Laos for a week, what places/sights should I go to? Thank you
One week isn't all that long in Laos, especially if you're planning on getting around by Bus (the roads are slow!). If I had only one week, I'd base myself in Luang Prabang and spend time doing temples, afternoons of BeerLao by the Mekong, and day trips out to other small villages about 7 years ago

Is there camping in the Barossa area, Adelaide and Kangaroo Island
In the Barossa, there's not a lot of National Parks, so look for caravan parks to stay in. Kangaroo Island on the other hand has extensive national parks - check out http://www.environment.sa.gov.au/parks/Find_a_Park/Browse_by_region/Kangaroo_Island about 7 years ago

Camping spots near Capital Cities in Australia
Christopher Paton is right - there's nothing in Sydney that's near the city at all! I'd consider parking your Motorhome somewhere for a week (maybe one of these distant van parks will keep it for a fee?), coming into the city and staying at one of the hostels or guest houses. You can get a double room for a reasonable fee in an amazing location if you stay at the YHA in the Rocks (http://www3.yha.com.au/Hostels/NSW/Sydney-Surrounds/Sydney-Harbour/) In Adelaide, there's also the Caravan park at West Beach ( a bus ride into the city, but near the beach) http://www.adelaideshores.com.au/accom/caravan/ about 7 years ago

Trip around OZ, starting end Feb,5 months. Husband hates. Heat. Which way should we travel? Vic,NSW,Qsld NT, WA and across nullabor Or Reve
The Dry season in the Top End is usually May to October, so whether you go clockwise or not, the timing should be fine provided you take a few months to get there. I'd pick the direction based on where you most want to go. If I had my time again (having done a 6 month trip around Oz in a 4WD), I'd head for WA and spend a good chunk around the South West coast, skip lightly through the middle bit and then another good chunk in the Kimberley region - it is unlike anything else you'll see and much harder to get to again than say NSW or Qld. over 7 years ago

What is the best way to set up a tent when anticipating rain?
Quickly! Seriously, a lot depends on the kind of tent you've got. We have a dome tent where the inner tent 'hangs' from the outer shell, so it always stays dry whilst you're pitching it. If you've got one of those tents where you put poles through the inner, then throw the shell over the top, it's likely it'll get wet. Although most tents made of modern light weight material are fairly quick drying. No surefire tips, but I'd take a good raincoat and big umbrella, wait for breaks in the weather. Better you get wet than the tent - inner . It's only water after all over 7 years ago

Romantic trip to Fiji! All inclusive? Where to go what to see? No kids. Just me and my better half
If I were you, I'd pick a resort that specifically said *No Kids*. I spent an enjoyable week (with my kids) on Treasure Island, but I watched the couples trying to lounge by the pool and gaze longingly into their beloved's eyes... only to be interrupted by ear piercing shrieks from a 5 year old splashing his sister. If you have kids of your own, and now have a chance for kid-free time, go somewhere where you don't have to put up with anyone else's. Or at the least, choose a bigger resort (like the Westin in Danarau) where there's space to escape. I've heard that Likuliku Lagoon Resort is great... if you can afford it. over 7 years ago
