how to get to broome australia from singapore

It's been talked about, but I don't think there's any direct flights yet. An alternative to Barb's suggestion is to fly Singapore > Perth and then connect to a flight to Broome. The drive from Perth to Broome is about 3 days... not kidding. It's worth flying if you have limited time. about 6 years ago

Cost of travel in the Kimberley?

Wow - thanks Barb for the update. In 1999, it was $1.20/litre and we thought it was crazy prices! On that trip, we drove 28,000km around Oz and the petrol price was generally $0.80 - .90 centres/litre. about 6 years ago

Recommendations for apartments in SF for 1 week?

I know I can go to airbnb.com etc and search, but I guess I'm really after a personal experience. Which one did you choose? Why was it so great. Does that help? over 6 years ago

Best things to see & dining, 4 days in Budapest, married couple

Budapest is famous for thermal Baths. Some go back to the Ottoman Empire days and have the most marvelous architecture. Make sure it's not a segregated one so you can stick together. There's a good list of them with details and pictures here: http://welovebudapest.com/en/health-beauty/articles/2012/09/11/the-best-thermal-baths-in-budapest over 6 years ago

Recommended minimum stay for a working holiday in Australia

There's no reason why you cant start in Oz in Sept then get a return flight to HK (albeit expensive at tht time of year!)and come back for more time on your working holiday visa. Kat makes a very good point about it taking time to find a job. I think you should try and be more flexible with your plans ;-) over 6 years ago
