How can I get from Rio de Janeiro to Ilha Grande?

Hi Lonnie, A bus line which has several departures to Angra dos Reis is Costa Verde. It has the below services and costs 35r 05:00h - 06:00h - 06:40h - 07:00h- 08:30h - 09:00h 10:00h - 10:20h - 11:00h -11:40h - 12:20h - 13:00h - 14:00h - 15:00 - 15:40h - 16:00h - 17:00h - 18:00h - 19:00h - 19:30h - 21:00h From Angra dos Reis there is generally one ferry a day which leaves at 15:30 on weekdays and 13:30 on the weekends so make sure you get there in plenty of time. I would say spend a minimum of 3 or 4 days here but beware - it is very easy to get stuck as it is absolute paradise! Hope this helps, about 9 years ago

What can I do on a monday at 8 pm in Buenos Aires?

Hi Katherine, Monday generally isn't the biggest night in Buenos Aires but there a few things you can do. The most obvious one is to see a tango show as there are many around the city and San Telmo. La Esquina is a good one to go to. If your looking for nightlife however I would reccommend heading to Palermo as there are bound to be some bars and restaurants buzzing every night of the week. I highly reccommend La Cabrera on Cabrera st in Palermo. almost 9 years ago

What are you top things to see around Cancun?

Hi Julio, There are quite a few things to see around Cancun. One must see is chichen Itza which is around 3-4 hours away but one of the most interesting historical sites in Mexico and has an amazing pyramid. Also Tulum is a must combining ruins with beautiful beaches. Lastly I would reccommend some snorkelling at Xel-Ha which has amazing caves, centoes (natural water caves) and great marine life. Enjoy!! almost 9 years ago

What are some tips on travelling south from Florianópolis?

Hi Lonnie, There are quite a few things you could see on the way down to Buenos Aires. The most obvious one and an absolute must see is Iguazu falls - probably the most beautiful falls in the world. You can easily get a bus from Florianopolis to Foz do Iguazu. From here you could travel accross to Salta in the North of Argentina and go horse riding or see the salt flats. Then travel down to Cordoba which is a nice town on the way to BA. Another option you could take would be to follow the coast down into Uruguay from Brazil visiting Punta del Este, Montevideo and Colonia de Sacremento before catching a ferry across the river plate to BA. Either way you will have a grea time :) about 9 years ago

What is the cost of seeing lucha libre?

Hi Harry, You can get a tour to see a Luch Libre show for around 300 pesos or $US 25 which will include transfers, a guide and tickets to the show. It will be cheaper if you decide to go on your own to the arena bu the tour just makes it much easier. Make sure you go on a Friday however because there is also one on a Tuesday but this is in a much more dangerous part of Mexico City and not as good. Lucha Libre also exists in all big cities in Mexico like Guadalejara, Monterrey etc. Hope this helps :) about 9 years ago

When is the best time to avoid tourists on Easter Island?

Hi Nick, Easter Island is an amazing place and definetly worth the visit. If you can go at any time, then low season is from around May to October where there will be far fewer crowds and the Island will be nice and peaceful. If you have to go in summer, then do as Steve suggests and try and get to the sites either early in the morning or late in the afternoon before the cruise tour passengers arrive. almost 9 years ago

What is the best way to visit Torres del Paine from El Calafate?

Hi Tania, There are may buses you can take from El Calafate into the national park of Torres del Paine but it depends on what exactly you want to do there. Are you wanting to stay for a few days and maybe do some walks? Or just kind of pass through it just to see it? If you want to stay for a while I highly reccommend staying in the Eco Camp, it is like a luxury campsite in a stunning location with a view to the famous spirals of Torres del Paine. If you want to know more just let me know and I will be happ to help :) about 9 years ago

What happens to a person if they lose their Yellow Fever certificate and tries to enter Australia after visiting a country like Brazil?

Hi Robert, It is always a good idea to photocopy your certificate and perhaps even scan you you always have a hard copy you can access should you lose the original. If you have lost it you can still contact the place where you got the vaccination from and see if they can fax you a copy. If you can't get this then you may just have to go through some simple questions at the immigration in Australia and then you should be fine. almost 9 years ago
