My wife and i are heading to Brussels for a long weekend, any tips for things we should not miss? Food, bars, sights?

Hello Pedro, Brussels is a very large city, with many neighborhoods to check out. I would advise you to see some neighborhoods other than the old center. Ixelles for example, is a very lively and happening neighborhood with many cafes, restaurants and shops. My personal tip is this Jazz-bar: http://www.spottedbylocals.com/brussels/area/ixelles/bars-ixelles/the-sounds If you want to check out what the locals do in Brussels, there are many great tips on www.SpottedbyLocals.com/brussels Enjoy Bruxelles! What is the best club in Amsterdam to go to on saturday night?

My personal favorite is Paradiso - a club in a former church! (http://www.spottedbylocals.com/amsterdam/area/canals/music-canals/paradiso) It's relaxed, no dress-code, nice people Enjoy! over 10 years ago

A nice (ie: not too touristy) restaurant to take my boss for his birthday dinner to, near Leidseplein?

Oh yes, there's a lot in the neigborhood, if you walk away from the neon lights! On the cheap side: Cafe Zotte - Belgian beers and food A bit more expensive - Very Good: Incanto - http://www.spottedbylocals.com/amsterdam/incanto More restaurants in the neighborhood, recommended by locals: http://www.spottedbylocals.com/amsterdam/category/area/canals/restaurants-canals Enjoy your dinner! over 9 years ago

What is the best boutique hotel in Amsterdam?

Hello Simon, The Dylan Amsterdam is definitely one of the best: http://www.dylanamsterdam.com. Very well located, but posh indeed... It's where Madonna stays for example. The college hotel http://www.collegehotelamsterdam.com/ is another very nice one, and less posh. Located next to all famous museums. Enjoy your time in Amsterdam!
