Top countries to explore on a 3 month trip through South America?
Hi Milly, Machu Picchu is definitely NOT overrated. If you have the time, I would do the trek there (I wish I did!). Peru is general is a fantastic destination for food, adventure, nature and charm. I especially loved Arequipa, Ollantaytambo and Cusco. I would plan to spend at least two weeks in Peru. As for buses, you get what you pay for. I would suggest you go for the higher end coaches, for comfort, safety and reliability. Alicia over 2 years ago

How does one recover from long term travel?
Hi David, Unfortunately, I don't think you ever fully recover from long term travel. My best piece of advice is to try and treat your hometown as if you were a traveller there. Keep an eye out for interesting events, try out the newest restaurants/bars, take day or weekend trips outside of the city - and bring your friends along. The other option? Start planning your next trip - no matter how far away it may be. Remember though, you're not alone in feeling this way - all nomads do! over 3 years ago

What is the best travel destination this 2016?
This year is the 100th anniversary of the U.S. National Park system - so I would definitely head off on a U.S. road trip. Also, Nepal - an amazing country that is on the rebound from the earthquake - which makes it a great time to visit as it's not crowded and you can help support local tourism. over 3 years ago
