I'm not sure if my last comment posted because it made me register. Oh well. My brother has traveled extensively in Panama and says you can take a bus from San José to Panama City. I think they run about 35-50. It's about 10 hours and sort of vomit inducing if you are sensitive to that stuff, which I am. That's consistent with what I hear from other travelers. Otherwise, you could look for flights (100-200) on Taca, Copa, or Avianca. over 11 years ago
Is it a good idea to rent a car in San Jose and move from there to the other turistic places? I plan it to be our hub. Thanks.
In my opinion, that might be tricky. Costa Rica has some bad highways and freeways so even though things appear close, they take forever to get to because of the backups or traffic. Remember that Costa Rica is fairly developed and San Juan is kind of a boring capital city. almost 9 years ago
What are the recommendations for the "must see/visit/eat" in Santiago, A Coruña, Oviedo, Santander, Valladolid? Thanks
Your question is under 'Chile', aren't those in Spain? almost 9 years ago
