Any advice when seeking traditional food in Botswana?

There was an answer on Twitter http://twitter.com/dumela_ev/statuses/13178299162 dumela_ev said: Food from/on the street is mostly OK, go where locals go, check food counters at supermarkets, very good :-) over 9 years ago

Rough budget for two months' travel?

Really depends on how you are spending your $$s Haven't been to Peru, so I am not much use there. In terms of buying power Argentina is the cheapest, Brazil is the next and Chile is the most expensive. Since I was there last year we have had the western world economy crash which has made all of the exchange rates a lot worse. Argentina was easily the cheapest. You could find all you can eat buffets with a great selection of food for 7 pesos (US$2)! Dorm rooms in hostels for 35 pesos (US$10) - Palermo House hostel in Buenos Aires and the buffet down the road. So in Argentina you can do a lot with US$30 per day. Brazil is probably 1.5 or 2 times as expensive, at least in the big cities. Chile is something similar to Brazil. over 10 years ago

With summer on the way soon (hopefully), which is the best East Coast beach?

There are lots of places on the East Coast that are amazing. Bingalong Bay is a great place. The beaches close by are really great and you can find secluded areas or busy friendly areas with lots of other friendly people. about 10 years ago

What can you tell me about skiing in Austria? Thank you.

What do you want to know about it? There are mountains and snow... The views are absolutely spectacular. Best months to go are Dec, Jan and Feb. Innsbruck is a popular centre to base yourself in. There are plenty of hotels in the mountains that might be better if you rent a car. over 10 years ago

what are romantic and quiet places to visit in Venice?

There are some really cosy and romantic B&Bs in Venice. But if you are going in the summer, Venice is not exactly a quiet place to visit. You will be hard pressed to find a quiet spot outside of where you are staying. Even in the winter it is a pretty popular destination. over 10 years ago
