What would be the top 3 attractions in Bath?

Well as the name suggests the baths are the biggest attraction (2000 year old roman spas) http://www.romanbaths.co.uk/ Other things to see would be: The Royal Crescent - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Royal_Crescent The Bath Abbey - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bath_Abbey over 10 years ago

best way to get around the city

The paris bike system is the biggest in the world and quite cheap you just need a credit card with an EMV chip (and you need to know your PIN) Check out the wikipedia article for more info http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Velib If this is not an option or you are going in the winter and want to avoid the cold. The metro system in Paris is great. Goes basically everywhere including out to places like Versailles over 10 years ago

Are there prepaid data SIMs an international traveler could easily buy when visiting the U.S?

Well looks like i will be searching for a T-Mobile store when I arrive in JFK. Still $59 is a pretty steep price though... It is highly unlikely that I would need unlimited data. Was there options with less data included? In Portugal you can get a single month prepaid card for 15€ with some credit (5€ from memory) and then sign up for 7€ for 100mb download over 9 years ago

Do i need an International Driver's Permit to drive a rental vehicle in USA?

Lol I think stop sign legally means come to a full stop in most countries. Just some cultures choose to ignore that whole silly idea and just cruise through ;) over 9 years ago

When leaving the USA is it possible to get the taxes we paid back?

We asked in the airport information department and they said that international tourists can get their state tax (only sales tax paid in that state) back when they leave particular states: Texas, California, New York plus one other I can't remember. about 9 years ago

It is legal to smoke dope in the Netherlands?

This is the subject of a lot of confusion. Most people think that it is legal there, when as far as I know (and according to wikipedia) it actually is NOT LEGAL. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Drug_policy_of_the_Netherlands It is actually considered a misdemeanor and you can be fined for possession, even for personal use. All of this said, it is not enforced and the coffee shops selling hash brownies and other cool stuff conduct their business without any concerns for police busts. My only advice is, if you are going to consume anything, just behave yourself and don't have too much. Police will not search you unless you give them plenty of reason to do so. And whatever you do, DO NOT try and take anything in or our of the Netherlands. Import/Export is treated very harshly and all transport in and out of the country is targeted because of their drug tourism reputation. over 10 years ago
