Headed to Nürburgring, Germany for a music festival in July perhaps - any hints on what else to do around that time?

Well it is a popular time to be travelling around Europe. You are in a good region to find plenty of tourist attractions. One of the biggest attractions in the area is the Neuschwanstein Castle. It is pretty spectacular. If you want to do more low key stuff, you will be in some of the best brewing country in the world so touring a brewery would be a thing to do http://www.europeanbeerguide.net/nurnpubs.htm --- If you can and want to travel a bit more. One thing that is very close is Slovenia and a little town called Bled. The gorge there is fantastic in the summer and the lake is beautiful aswell over 9 years ago

Where can I park for free in Santiago, Spain?

When I went to Santiago I stayed in a hotel called Miradoiro de Belvis http://www.booking.com/hotel/es/miradoiro-de-belvis.html It had complementary parking which was very handy. Also the cost of the place was quite cheap considering it was in the middle of old town it was only €45 total a night for a double room. over 9 years ago

Where is a good place to stay in Berlin?

As I answered in this question http://travellr.com/questions/germany/656/where-is-a-good-backpackers-to-stay --- The Schlaffmeile http://www.schlafmeile.de is one of the best hostels in Berlin. Another good one is the Sunflower hostel. Both of these are on http://www.hostelworld.com and it is a good website to use to book most places in Europe. over 9 years ago

Parking in San Sebastian for free?

Yeah that is true. You best bet is Avenida de Tolosa and park near the University buildings there, then catch a number 5 or 25 bus toward the city centre. You should be looking to get off at Okendo station and that is pretty much where you want to be for walking distance to most hostels in San Sebastian. over 9 years ago

the best way to get to evil tower ?

The Eifel Tower is easily walk-able from most places in the center of the city. The easiest way to get there is probably the Metro system. Just take the metro to Champ de Mars, Trocadéro or Ecole Militaire and from any of these you should be able to easily see the tower. Best view of the tower is probably from Trocadéro but it is also the furthest away. over 9 years ago

We are spending 5 days in Coles bay - Freycinet national park - for annual holiday. Family with a 5yo. Will have a rental car. Pl suggest.

Spend at least 1 whole day exploring Freycinet, wineglass bay is a bit of a walk. Do this on the first day you can and tire your kid out and they might be quiet for car exploring on the following day ;) Following day I would drive slowly up the coast to Binalong Bay and the Bay of Fires. Have lunch in Swansea. Cute old town. If you have good weather you can spend a day on the beaches in Freycinet. I would also recommend seafood in Bicheno. See if you can find places that have speciality dishes like wakame(seaweed), oysters or abalone You can go to the wildlife park just north of Bicheno More attractions: http://www.gsbc.tas.gov.au/site/page.cfm?u=297 over 9 years ago

What should one do if you have a day to travel from Hobart to Freycinet - any good stopovers/diversions?

Just take your time. It takes a few hours if you go straight there but you can take a day. Just pull off the road occasionally when you see a good view or need a break. I would say start at Sorell Fruit Farm (fresh fruit that you can go and pick yourself). Richmond is a bit out of the way unless you head through the midlands which is boring in my opinion. Kates Berry Farm if you want to continue the fruit trend is in Swansea. Other good food places around Tassie can be found here http://www.foodtourist.com/ftguide/Content/I2080.htm over 9 years ago
