Looking at taking a tour bus to Hana....is it worth the trek?? Any thoughts???

if you have never been to Maui's Hana Coast, I would recommend the Van Drive because the drivers stop at most popular Waterfalls, State Parks, Snack shops on the way to Hana and will tell you a lot of History and explain everything you see? There are several Van Companies: Polynesian Adventure Tours, Valley Isle Tours and few others.... I would also recommend doing a Helicopter Tour over Hana without all the driving and it only takes 1 hour aerial tour unless you wanna get wet in one of the swimming pools :) If you ever really want to experience Hana, I would recommend stay 1-2 nights in Hana Town at Hotel Hana Ranch Sea Cottages are the Bomb! operated by Travaassa.... Is Hawaii a good place to go with toddlers?

Yes, most resorts in Hawaii now have facilities to cater to the entire family down to the toddlers, just ask each resort to find out which ones are more appropriate for your children. Most main Maui Resorts are located near the beaches, with the largest selection of sand beaches in the State of Hawaii over 7 years ago

recommendation on fligt or helicopter tour from Maui to the big island

if you make it over to Maui, you gotta try a Doors Off Helicopter Tour, if you have NO fears of heights! check out www.AlexAir.com , AlexAir is Maui's only Commercial Doors Off Helicopter Tour Operator on Maui and they also do offer Doors ON Tours on their AStar Helicopters and Specialize on Adventures Air Tours, such as their East Maui Special / Hana & Haleakala 60 min. Air Tour with a 30 minute Ground Stop on remote and private black sand beach. I recommend AlexAir Helicopters Doors Off 45 Minute Air Tour of the West Maui Mountains & Molokai Seacliffs(Hawaii's Tallest Cascading Waterfalls). You will fly across the Pailolo Channel to Molokai's East end into Halawa Valley and over the Seacliffs.....CheoooW! over 7 years ago

My wife and I are going back to Hawaii, We will be on both sides of the island and we are wondering where we can see Dolphin's in the wild?

LIving on Maui's North shore, we take the ferry over to Lanai, you swim out from Manele Bay, there is a large Pod of Spinner Dolphin that you see literally every visit to Lanai, especially on early morning swims, dives, paddle sessions :) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EMRLyCfQVBU almost 8 years ago
