Piazza della Signoria is a great place to people watch and enjoy a glass of wine! almost 6 years ago
I agree that the Biermarkt is a great place to enjoy local beers as is the Mill St. Brew Pub, which is located in the historic Distillery District and is about 5 minutes east of the Biermarkt on Esplanade. about 8 years ago
If you're looking for good food, head to Little Italy (College and Bathurst area) and dine on one of their patios. Kensington Market has a wide variety of shops and restaurants and is cheap! If you want to bar hop, head to King Street West (King and Portland) or five minutes west of there to Ossington Avenue. For shopping, visit the Eaton Centre or Queen Street West for more electic finds. As far as sights to see, of course there is the CN Tower, Centre Island (take the ferry at Harbourfront to access it), the Art Gallery of Ontario, the Distillery District (Front and Parliament) and the Beaches neighbourhood. For more ideas, read my website, http://www.torontonicity.com Enjoy your trip! about 8 years ago
