I'd like some recommendations for hostels and/or budget hotel in Dublin. For me, the most important things are cleanness and location.
Globetrotters Hostel is my favorite... partly because of their fantastic breakfast. Had good luck at Isaacs & Jacobs as well. Avalon House is in a cool, old building. over 9 years ago

Flying into Dublin. Doing self drive of castles for 8 days any suggestions for meals that must be gluten free? Thank you
Ireland has one of the highest ratios of celiacs in the world, so most restaurants have gluten free options on the menu, or if they don't, staff are generally well-versed on the topic and will make sure meals are made to suit your restrictions. Compared to many other countries, Ireland very gluten-free friendly. US celiacs I know have been especially pleased because they don't get confused looks from staff when trying to order. about 8 years ago

What is the best time of year to visit Ireland?
Spring's got budding flowers and baby animals. Summers got looooong hours of sunlight and higher prices and some locations have a lot of tourists. Fall usually has good temperatures with some sites cutting back on open times. Winter doesn't has very short days, so pubbing practically becomes a requirement :) Here's a post you might find helpful http://irishfireside.com/2012/03/04/when-is-the-best-time-to-visit-ireland/ almost 9 years ago
