Where can I see "caves de vinho" in Porto?

Hi, Another good idea is to take a boat tour up Douro which stops at some wine cellars where you get to see how the wine is made and transported. On the boat you will get a good meal and more wine! almost 9 years ago

What are some good things to see in Inverness during the winter?

A great way to see Inverness and Loch Ness is to run the marathon they do there on October (http://www.lochnessmarathon.com/)! I did it this year and combined it with a long weekend break - was good fun and you get to see the Loch in all its glory! almost 9 years ago

Where are the best snow boarding locations in Northern France?

The Northern Alps in France have great resorts Portes de Soleil. Take your pick from Morzine, Avoriaz, Chatel! They all have great slopes for all standards. My recommendation is Avoriaz - it's an amazing town where no cars are allowed - everyone is taken around in horse drawn carts! Plus, you can snowboard straight out of the hotel's front door. almost 9 years ago

Any temporary travel medical insurance that actually does not exclude organized sporting events?

Be careful to check the sports covered in the travel insurance you buy, even if it's a sports specific one. I went on a rugby tour abroad and one of the guys realised that rugby wasn't one of the sports covered in his insurance - you had to pay extra. The same goes skiing - you will need a winter sports coverage. almost 9 years ago
