Visual artist with a degree in cultural administration, in love of nature and arts. Sybarite by excellence and in constant looking of some adrenaline. My paradise: every single lost trail in some valley or remote area where I can run, climb or hike. In love of Chile!
Doing the 'w' track Patagonia, Chile starting btwn 4-7th July. Can you recommend a guide? anyone want to join me?
I can recommend you guides, and where to stay in Puerto Natales as well. I've been in Torres during winter as I used to live there... let me know what your dates and plans are. What time are you arriving to Punta Arenas airport. Do you have your bus to Puerto Natales ticket already purchased? Do you want to camp in the Park or ideally stay in the Mountain Lodges if there's any open? 4 months ago
You can stay in Pirque area and be close to the Maipo Valley wine region, or you can go also to Casablanca, which is not a nice town, and from there move to the wineries. Lots of people go all the way to Valparaiso and visit for the day the Casablanca region... but it's a 1hr drive at least. My recommendation would be to stay close to the Maipo Valley and check for a rural house to stay in Pirque, which is super close to Santiago, but no high buildings, lots of farms, crops and easy people. Pirque itself as a town is really nice, old and colonial style. 4 months ago
