Is safe To rent a motor bike in Vietnam

I finished two motorbike tours in October, both as a passenger. Why? Simply put, even the most knowledgeable rider from another country is unlikely ready to tackle the roadways, let alone anywhere off the beaten track, of a country that does not have signage in the language of the foreign visitor. In addition, driving in Vietnam is very different than, for example, in Canada. I do not recommend driving a motorbike solo - following a guide does work, but only as an experienced rider. We came across one accident that had foreign riders, many near misses and heard about one woman who was killed before even leaving Saigon simply because she did not realize she was in a truck lane - or so it was assumed. almost 2 years ago

Has anyone been to the Great Wall in winter (early Dec) and is it too cold?

Dress in layers if going anytime between mid-Nov through March. Carry a bottle of hot water - hydration is just as important during cold weather; the heat will be useful if you need a little more warmth while walking but most likely the weight will be lightened by the time you turn around. The wind chill can be biting, especially in January & February. If it is clear out, preferred for the views, it will most likely also be a few degrees colder. almost 2 years ago
