If you had 5 days for a honeymoon in Hawaii, what 2 islands do you recommend for a pristine non touristy adventure style experience?
I would do only one island in 5 days. I'd pick Maui. Enough tourist stuff (ziplines, whale watches, paragliding) that you can enjoy and spoil yourselves with some nice meals in either wailea or lahaina and than I'd go to Hana for 2 nights to relax in nature. How does one get visa for Vietnam is it visa for arrival for all nationals , we are ghanians
If you are arriving by air you need to arrange the visa before you enter. There is a government run website for the visa you fill out some papers than print a form to bring with you to customs. If you are traveling overland you can get Visas quite easily through services in the neighboring countries. I got mine in Laos and it only took a few days. My wife and I are going to Maui in Oct for our 10 year wedding anniversary. What are some of the not-so-touristy restaurants & experiences?
Restaurants: Star Noodle, Monkey Pod, Capishe? Stay out in Hana for a night or two! Go to Lanai with Trilogy instead of the average Molokini Trip For more of my thoughts on Maui check out my blog fluentinfrolicking.com over 7 years ago

Is it easy to travel between Vietnam and Vang Vien in Laos? What is the best way to do this?
A long bus ride will work but what Mika said is true. You will need a multiple entry Visa for Vietnam and the bus rides in Laos take forever! I would skip the tubing madness and instead explore more of Vietnam. It is such a gorgeous country with so much to offer. 3 weeks is barely enough to cover it all! Plus the food in Vietnam is a million times better than that in Laos. My top suggestion for Vietnam: Motor bike over the Hai Van Pass from Hue to Hoi An. Gorgeous drive and a real Vietnamese experience! http://fluentinfrolicking.com/2012/05/23/travel-porn-hai-van-pass-vietnam/ over 7 years ago
