Most top/must see attractions in Berlin are very close and that's perfect for one day. Start for example at Alexanderplatz and walk through Museum island, check the Cathedral and then the walk the Unter den Linden all the way to the Bradenburger gates. There take a bit to visit the parliament with the amazing glass dome and fantastic view to the city. If you have time walk to the Postdamer Square and pass by the monument in memory to the jews. Depending on fast you do this there's still the possibility for a walk to Checkpoint Charlie and see remains of the Wall. Many attractions are in this path. If you like check the free walking tours which give you a good overview of these places with explanation on the side. over 7 years ago

I'm staying for 5 days in Berlin. Which are the greatest places to visit? Music, history, parks, etc thanks!!!!
there's plenty to vist in Berlin: check this answer for a 1day http://answers.worldnomads.com/questions/germany/7486/1-day-free-in-berlin-what-should-i-see which of course can be extended if you visit the museums and all the places. Potsdam nearby (prob 30min with train) is also very nice. And if the weather helps enjoy the beer-gardens and the nice "city beach" atmosphere in many cafes along the river. over 6 years ago
