I wanna go to Maldives I know is expensive any tips to make it cheaper?

Maldives can be an expensive place to get to, but there are a few hundred hotels/resorts/bnbs which means there is a range of accommodation from cheap to outright expensive. Guests houses are popping up all over the place now in the Maldives you could try those http://www.maldivesresortdeals.com/guesthouses.html Be sure to factor in any travelling costs to and from the airport as this can add a significant cost if further away. over 4 years ago

    Best Maldives Resorts

Yes, Gili Lankanfushi was rated first for reviews in 2014 and has won several awards, so there's no way you can go wrong there. Medhufushi and Vakarfalhi Island resorts are a bit further and im sure you will have to get a seaplane. Not only that you may have a layover as seaplanes dont fly at night. I have seen a bunch of resorts on http://www.maldivesresortdeals.com and some other resorts to consider are the Banyan Tree, Four Seasons Resort, Club Med Kani and Adaaran. It really depends how much you want to spend. Do you have a budget? Maldives has many cheaper resorts and guesthouses too, there shouldn't be a problem around availability but expect to pay more during peak season as usual. over 4 years ago

What is the best season to make a journey to Maldives ?

That question can be answered in different ways but i'll assume you're after this. If you go peak or high which tends to be around December to April then you can expect the weather to be warmer and drier. Off peak seasons are still warm, but it may be overcast and rain a bit more. I visited in June and it was over 25c everyday and it only rained and night time. Of course during peak season there will be a lot more people and the prices will be higher at the Maldives resorts http://www.maldivesresortdeals.com. If you are after affordability and want to avoid the bulk of the travelers go off peak. There are also peak seasons for marine life and surfing which the Maldives is also known for. over 4 years ago
