which is the best website to book multi-city international flights?

Have you found these guys yet? indie.bootsnall.com They specialise in multi-city flights. It's run by a well known independant travellers community organisation 'bootsnall'. I think they even have a feature where you can post your itinerary to the community so other people can help you find a better deal. about 4 years ago

Best data SIM card for Portugal

We asked friends and family here and they are apparently pretty much all the same. We went with vodaphone, from memory I think it coat us 20€ for 5gb and then you just load it up with extra credit to make calls etc. (call and text credit doesn't seem to go very far). over 4 years ago

    Rainy Day in Lisbon

If you like art the Gulbenkian collection is amazing, and free on Sunday. Nearest metro is probably São Sebastião on the blue line. There is also a planetarium in Belem, but I'm not sure how good it is. over 4 years ago

Is there Gluten free Western Food in Kowloon, Nathan Road, Hong Kong?

There is a Pret A Manger www.pret.hk in one of the arcades near causeway bay station (sorry I don't remember the name of the arcade but I do know they pop up on google maps). My husband is gluten intolerant and we found this place on our last day in Hong Kong. All the soy sauce in everything was a food mine field for him so we often ate at some of the Indian places dotted around Hong Kong. Good luck with your gluten free hunt, and hopefully you find something a bit closer than causeway bay. over 4 years ago

Will 30 Euros a day in Italy be enough?

www.priceoftravel.com publishes a "Backpackers Index" each year for popular cities around the world. We have found this to be a handy resource to get an idea about budget travellers prices as we move from country to country. They break down the daily costs into common expenses such as food, drinks, transport, accommodation so maybe you use that information to get some ideas about where you can cut costs. over 4 years ago

Best Route For South East Asia

Hi Alex. If our experiences help at all, we just spent a little under two months in both Thailand and Cambodia. You're not going to like hearing this, but we felt that even with three to four weeks in each country we just barely scratched the surface! However, we were mostly making it up as we went, and we met many other travellers who were much more organised than us and many of the, were doing the northern thailand, Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia trail. Places we loved were Chiang Mai and Siem Reap. Places we wished we had made it to after speaking others: Chiang Rai & Pai, Laos, some smaller towns in Cambodia. almost 5 years ago

    Chiang Mai recommended day trips?

Kayaking. There are a stack of tour operators who will take you out of Chiang Mai to the river areas and teach you how to Kayak. We did it and had incredible peaceful views of the jungle. almost 5 years ago
