RV trip Santa Fe to Taos. Want to see Bandelier Mon., Cave Dwellings and White Rock Overlook. What is the best route when driving in an RV?
From Santa Fe drive to Los Alamos. You can then see the White Rock park/overlook and then to Bandelier. Now comes a decision. The drive from Los Alamos to Jemez Springs, through the Santa Fe National Forest is spectacular. Of particular interest is the Valle Grande - an ancient caldera. From this route you can circle back through Los Alamos and then on to Taos via NM 4 and US 285 over 5 years ago

Whats your impression of santa fe nm
Jima Hot Springs?????? He must be referring to Jemez Springs, NM where they have numerous hot springs. About a 2 hour drive from Santa Fe and certainly not considered part of Santa Fe!! Santa Fe used to be a very interesting town. Then all the "Beautiful People" moved in and ruined it. It has turned into a giant tourist trap with mediocre art galleries and a few interesting places to stay and visit. I was born and raised in Santa Fe so I have a basis for my opinions. over 5 years ago
