Are female incontinence supplies (pads, etc) readily found in Thailand beyond Bangkok? Where to look?

I'm the OP, reporting back after my month-long trip through Thailand. I was somewhat off the beaten path and checked 7-11s, other minimarts, pharmacies and Tesco-Lotus for these products everywhere I went -- almost always with no luck. There's a huge selection of menstrual products but almost no place carries incontinence pads. I don't speak Thai but tried to decipher the packages, and finally resorted to bringing in an empty package to show the type of thing I was looking for. Serious problem for the incontinent! Here's where I went: Nakhon Chai Si (yes), Sangklaburi (no), Prachuap Khiri Khan (no), Pak Song (no), Khao Sok (no), Krabi (sort of), Ko Jum (no), Nai Yang Beach on Phuket (no). over 5 years ago

Are repellents made of picaridin (a DEET alternative) easy to find outside of Bangkok? Also known as Autan.

I'm the OP reporting back after a month on Thailand. Not one of the 7-11s or minimarts I checked had anything containing picaridin, as far as I could tell. I was somewhat off the beaten path much of the time, but even in Kanchanaburi and Krabi I couldn't find it. Luckily I brought little packets of it from home and wore long pants/long sleeves during peak mosquito hours. (I'm severely allergic to DEET and have found that herbal products don't work very well.) over 5 years ago
