Any tips on safari travel in Kenya and Tanzania?

These are some very practical tips based on experiences from the Serengeti. - Sunblock is a must as are sunglasses - Moisturize heavily, the heat is very dry and you will feel it cracking your skin. - Lip balm, I cannot stress its importance - Keep your hair tied and covered if possible - Keep yourself hydrated by constantly sipping on water - Keep your feet covered - Keep munchies handy, most camps will provide packed lunch - It gets chilly at night, carry atleast 1 jacket or sweatshirt. If you're planning to stay at NgoroNgoro, it gets pretty cold - Make sure to carry any personal medication, I also recommend a set of basic medication - analgesic, digestives, etc,. - Wipes for yourself and your camera Visiting a masai is an absolute must do, it's an experience like no other. Try their traditional dance and mingle with the tribe. And do respect the laws of the bush! over 5 years ago

Where can I see some African wildlife?

The Masai Mara of course, where the great migration happens. It's called the Serengeti in Tanzania. Don't miss out on visiting a masai village while you're there. It's absolutely incredible how they live ! over 5 years ago
