Is Byron bay worth going to for New Years eve?

At this stage you're unlikely to find any vacant accommodation in Byron for NYE. Call the Byron Bay Visitor Center http://www.visitbyronbay.com/ and ask them if they know of any place still open. There is a lot of live music in town over NYE, good food and big crowds of young locals and backpackers. Don't go if you're looking for a quiet time. But it's also a pretty safe place to be too, and the weather is usually good. almost 9 years ago

How far from Sydney can I find a secluded beach?

Good answers. Also try Bungan Beach, which is between two better-known beaches, Mona Vale and Newport beach, on Sydney's Northern Beaches. It's a steep walk down a sealed track at either the North or South ends of the beach, and there's no store, both of which keep the crowds away. The beach is only patrolled at the north end so the south end is usually empty and private. It's about 45mins from central Sydney by car or 1:20 by bus. almost 9 years ago

Are there any good Mexican restaurants in Sydney CBD?

Try Rattlesnake Grill in Neutral Bay for entertaining and colourful setting with live music some nights or Vera Cruz in Cremorne for a stylish modern take on Mexican cuisine. Both are about 15mins from the CBD by taxi or bus. almost 9 years ago
