I am going on a yoga retreat to Bali, is there anything anyone would recommend I bring that they may have forgotten?

What's the best beach to visit while in Bali? I'm looking for something not too crowded or touristy. We're staying in Ubud.
I heard from a friend that there are beaches in North Bali that are gorgeous and empty, but we ended up going to the Kuta area. Kuta beach is SUPER dirty. We didn't end up staying there at all - instead we took a taxi (for 25 dollars total) to Karma Beach - a private beach about an hour away from Kuta. It was well worth the trip. The beach has a fee, 25 dollars I think, but that includes some food and drink. It was one of the highlights of the trip and I would definitely recommend taking a day trip there. about 6 years ago
Good place to stay in Lancaster area? I was looking at staying in Bird in Hand. Is that a good choice?
A year ago I stayed at the Country Hearth Bed & Breakfast in New Holland. It's a stone's throw from Bird in Hand and Lancaster, and was one of my favorite B&B experiences to date. The owners are really friendly and knowledgable about the area, and will tell you great stories about the Amish while you eat your breakfast! over 6 years ago
Pat's and Geno's are the most famous, but in my opinion, Jim's on South Street are the best in the city. I've tried all three and I crave Jim's every time I'm back in town. Do yourself a favor, though, and always get whiz! It's not a real Philly steak without it! over 6 years ago
