Is Myanmar in the rainy months?

Myanmar has 3 seasons. Hot season is from March to May. Rainy season is from June to October and Cold season is from November to February. There could be some monsoon left in first half of November. Night could be cold but it's based on where you are going. Myanmar's geographic areas are varied. Are you going to highland in the east, or dry plane in the middle or mountainous regions in the north or wet and tropical areas in the lower regions? Please contact Grandview tours at (grandview@visit2burma.com) for more information. about 6 years ago

3 days at Inle Lake in november; any suggestions 'off the beaten track'?

You can visit around Inle Lake and nearby villages without any worry. Area is safe. But, I'd suggest you to have a local guide. Local ethnics people have their own languages and it is always better to have a local with you for you and for the native people. about 6 years ago

Is there a bus from Yangon to Maesot, Thailand or at least to the Myanmar side of the border?

Yes, there are buses to get to Maesot, Thailand. You can buy Yangon-Myawaddy direct bus tickets and then cross the border through immigration. Maesot and Myawaddy is just across the bridge. You can just walk into Maesot from Myawaddy. about 6 years ago
