How long do I need in barcelona? I'm thinking 3 days?

If it´s possible for you to stay longer than 3 days, I would, especially if you´re planning on doing Montserrat because that is a day trip in itself. Barcelona has so much to offer, and besides seeing the tourist sites, you´ll probably just want a day without plans to simply explore the city. I would also suggest the funicular at Montjuic, which offers some amazing views and is quite easily accessed through the center of the city. Hopefully this gives you some insight! Best way to get from paris to Barcelona?

For coming to Barcelona, as long as you don´t mind cheap airlines, definitely go with RyanAir! Flying is a lot easier and quicker than dealing with trains. Laura [Apartment Barcelona] over 6 years ago

Non-touristy things to do in paris or Barcelona?

As far as Barcelona goes, I can only recommend that you live like a local for the time that you´re here. If you´re not interested in visiting the Sagrada Familia or Font Mágica and the like, then I would recommend exploring the depths of the Barrio Gotic and El Born. Here, you will find hidden shops and bakeries and maybe even nicer restaurants. On warmer days, it can be fun to get off the metro at Barceloneta (L4) and walk to the beach and just people-watch. Also, the Boqueria can be touristy, but if you walk around and purchase things with a meal in mind, it´s not touristy at all and it can be a fulfilling experience. I hope this helps, and enjoy your time in Barcelona! Laura [Apartment Barcelona] over 6 years ago
