What should you do on your first trip to Paris if you only have two days?

I spent a week there a few years ago, and still did not see all I wanted to. The Musee D'Orsay on the left bank by the river is lovely if you like Impressionist art, they have lots of Monet work there and more. Make an appointment or get a ticket ahead as you could spend an hour in the line. The Eifel Tower of course. Go to Montmartre and see artists in the street and go in the Sacre Coeur cathedral. The Notre Dame. Stroll the Champs Élysées. You can go to the top of the Arc d'Triomphe and watch the cars below manoeuvre the roundabout with no lane markers.Enjoy a coffee in an outside cafe and people watch. The glass ceiling in Layfayette department store is magnificent. over 6 years ago

I have one evening in Richmond (Vancouver, BC) and looking for things to do that are taxi close. Any suggestions?

I live in south west Richmond, a village area called Steveston. charming area once a Japanese fishing village. Lots of great cafes, restaurants, river views and an historic Cannery and museum. A boardwalk area. We love it here. Tourists do come here for a day out. over 6 years ago

Better city to live Montreal or Vancouver?

Montreal has a great European flare, but cold and snowy in winter and hit and humid in summer. Vancouver has a temperate climate like south of England with better summers. I live in Richmond just next to Vancouver and for the weather, would not live anywhere else in Canada except maybe Victoria. Vancouver is beautiful, with the sea and local mountains half hour away to ski. yet in winter you could play golf on the same day. People here are very outdoorsy, and into a lot of excercising in general. over 6 years ago
