I'm going to Nepal for 4 days spending one night in Kathmandu and then 3 days in pokhara... Need tips for pokhara what to do, eat, bars?

Welcome to Nepal Ritjana and I would suggest following program Program Day 01 Day Join Kathmandu 1300m Arrive in Kathmandu. Stay overnight in selected hotel. Day 02 Drive to Pokhara/800m (2624ft) After hot breakfast drive 200km to Pokhara and it takes about 6-7 hours from Kathmandu by tourist bus. It is an exciting and romantic drive that we can enjoy beautiful scenic view of terraced rice field, eye catching landscape, Trisuli and Marsyangdi Rivers and spectacular panoramic view of Ganesh Himal, Manaslu, Lamjung Himal and most of Annapurna Himalayan Range are seen. The tourist coach stops for breakfast at 09:00 am and at around 12:00 for lunch on the way to Pokhara. Or you can fly to Pokhara to save time. Day 03: Pokhara – Ghandruk/1940m 5-6 hours walk. Sightseeing in Pokhara, Davis fall, Fewa lake, Mahendra cave, Seti River or hike or drive to Peace Stup (Japanese Pagoda). And hang around pokkhara Lake Side, there are hundreds of bars………. Day 04: Fly to Kathmandu from Pokhara and fly back to homeland. This trip is possible if you book through a travel agency. almost 9 years ago

Hi , going to Kathmandu in December , I know it's cold during that time , but is it bitterly cold and unbearabable .?

It is reasonably cold in Dec in Kathmandu, very bearable, We trekked to Annapurna Base Camp in last Dec, it was not that much cold as people think of it and had a beautiful new year eve in Pokhara at the end of our trip! You are welcome to Nepal over 7 years ago

Going for 4 days to Kathmandu , what s a must do and and what are your general tips about , good hotel and tour co

Hard to answer your question till we don't know flight schedule to Ktm but I plan like this roughly: Day 01: arrival Kathmandu (sightseeing if you arrive early hours) Day 02: Hike to Chisapani Day 03: Hike to Nagarkot Day 04: Drive to Bhaktapur and sightseeing, fly back home if your flight is at late afternoon. it is better if you allow at least 5-7 days for short and perfect trip to Nepal over 7 years ago
