You can get prepaid sim cards at every kiosk, just show them your phone or iPad. China Unicom is very good for iPhone or iPad, you can use 3G! about 7 years ago
I don't know the exact address, but it's called the "fabric market" and located south of the Old Town... Its a big building with lots of suitmakers, they should be able to do it within 4 days... Prices are around 100 Yuan for a shirt and 700 Yuan for a complete suit, but you have to bargain very good. about 7 years ago
What will be the best place to visit in Shanghai if I only have 2 days to spend? I will be staying at the Marriott hotel Changfeng Park. TY!
Got to the Bund, the old town, the Jade Buddha Temple, Huaihuai and Nanjing Lu (street) and to people square on a weekend, maybe you can see the marriage market... And get up early, to see people practicing Tai Chi on the streets (or at the Bund)! about 7 years ago
If you are into electronic, go to Xujiahui (also a metro station on line nr 1)! There are several malls, where you can buy everything from fake to top class products (most of them are NOT fake)... But I experienced, that it's hard to bargain there. about 7 years ago
i have 14 days, that includes flight time, what can and must i see in china...i am flying to shanghai..and i like abit of history and and
First, you have to enjoy the beauty of Shanghai, the Bund, the nightlife at Sky Club and Zeal (has a terrace with view of the skyline of Shanghai). And you have to see the great wall, at best near Beijing at Jinshanling (not at Badaling, which is to overcrowded). Also, the forbidden city and the temple of heaven are a must see in Beijing! Then you should visit Xian, which is the Chinese end of the silk road and has a lot of interesting spots and food... And of course the terra-cotta warriors! about 7 years ago
