Call a loclly owned gardening center/nursery or horticultural society and ask them for tips. If you have to choose between Valencia or Bilbao to visit on a trip to Spain. Witch one would u choose? Ps. My family name is Basque.
I spent fabulous few weeks in Basque country and it was stunning and varied. Lots to do, see and eat. Valencia is different geography and weather, coastal, so spend don what you like to do as traveler. over 8 years ago

Looking for a small fishing village with seafood restaurant near Barcelona
North of barcelona coast is developed for holiday makers, so the nostalgic fishing village is harder to find. I liked Port de Selva and llanca much further north. Llanca is much a locals town, but not a fishing village in the way you may be thinking. over 8 years ago

Where are the best shopping spots in London, not too expensive?
Ditto the above if you want chain shops. If open to one off shops definitely check out Camden market, but also Islington and Nottingham Hill markets have cool stalls and shops. Covent garden and side streets also has fun stores. over 8 years ago

I spent one if the best evenings. A milonga at the Armenian cultural center in their lower level events space. Jammed with locals of all ages. It's in Palermo soho. On another visit to BA I went to a milonga at the basque cultural center, though mo IDE which neighborhood as I took a taxi there with locals. over 8 years ago
