I heard you will need extra passport photos for your visas, how do I get extra copies that follow the restrictions but not at a high price?

Get what you need for your first country of entry, and the rest if possible there (if a cheaper economy that is.) I always get a slew of them taken when i am traveling where they are often cheaper e.g. Mexico and most recently in Cambodia. over 6 years ago

I am traveling to LA for 2 days. What are the must do's?

Check out the forum here for loads of other similar questions and great answers. i just got back from a weekend there so i can add to what already posted in previous questions with the following: Rooftop cocktails overlooking Venice Beach and great 360 view of all of LA at the Erwin. Rooftop drinks/bar nibbles at the Hotel Wilshire Silver lake-;bohemona' part of LA where people grow their own food, drive Mercedes benzes running on recycled vegetable oil, and appreciate the 'hippy' side of life. combihnd it with Sunset Junction strolling and bar hoping. El Cid, Cafe Stella, Blairs is a neighborhood restaurant tucked in the back streets of silver lake with amazing food. for a relaxed mellow stroll, head to the beachfront area of santa Monica, well actually, further up the promontory where Montana Ave ends at the ocean-top ridge. Montana Ave is a relaxed strip of shops, boutiques, restaurants, cafe, so drop in if in that part of town or heading to the new getty museum. over 6 years ago

What are de best places to hangout in San Fransisco?

Hi Ashly. Jann has some great suggestions. Also, be sure to search this forum for questions along this vein already asked as there are lots of good answers in there too. i would add that the Museum of Modern Art is fabulous. I think the first Tuesday of the month it is free, and they also have Thursdays when they open late at night so that's always a good evening fun too. Museums in Golden gate park have similar social nights and free days too, so check that out. Other cool neighborhoods: Hayes valley by the Civic Center (15 min walk from the Civic Center Bart train station.) definitely walk through Little Italy and up to Coit Tower for some nice views. Ride a bike across the GG Bridge and then lop over to either Sausalito or go further to Tiburon-take the ferry back, great day out. over 6 years ago
