Mill valley Inn is right is right in the lovely town. Off of 101 is a travelodge that is reputed to have the best Indian restaurant in Marin! and there's the good handful in Corte Madera over 7 years ago

Spending memorial day weekend in Boston. Any suggestions on unique things to do or see?

There will be the usual spots ( look at other Boston questions and answers for ideas), but my two faces are walking over to Charlestown and Bunker Hill, and bike ride on the minuteman bikeway. Great way to see the area and experience the history of Paul Reveres ride. If there's a baseball game at Fenway, GO! over 7 years ago

    B&B options in Boston

Don't overlook Cambridge side of the area. Very easy access on the T (just a few stops from Porter Sq and Harvard Sq), and even the walk down Mass ave to Boston affords a great way to see the city. Back bay is lovely as are Beacon Hill and Tremont street in South End. Check out Bedandbreakfast.com and airbandb and Tripping.com over 7 years ago

Can u advise me on best London walks?

Don't know of specific tour companies, but look up what a historical or literary society may offer. I always go solo, just using a good map (invest in the London A-Z from WHSmiths or any newsagents). Face areas: Along embankment from City Hall heading on southbank to Tate Modern. Then cross millennium bridge to St Pauls, start looping back towards Charing Cross either along river or Fleet Street with stops in the Courts and Alexandra Palace. Walk 2: start at Charing Cross, walk up St Martins with offshoots to Leicester Sq and Chinatown, but generally head towards Covent Garden. Off Covent Garden, look for Neals Yard and side streets loaded with small tiny unique shops and boutiques. You can then keep walking north on side streets and across one end of shaftsbury avenue to the Britsh museum Walk 3: start Leicester Sq, wend to next streets that are Chinatown. Bop over Shaftsbury avenue to Soho. Head west through soho and get onto Regents street up towards Oxford circus. Bit touristy, but Carnaby street parallels regents street by Libertys, so may as well peak your head round there. Walk 4: Camden market, Camden lock, up towards Belsize park & Hampstead high street. I can go on and on. Have fun! over 7 years ago

Aussie girl traveling Europe 6 months. How easy will it be to get cheap accommodation in the summer months? Any advice greatly appreciated!

A lot of that will depend if where you are heading has events or festivals going on which would then point to booking early, or being willing to stay a little further away from the downtown areas you otherwise might prefer. I'm a big fan of hostelworld.com and booking.com as they provide the flexibility of booking last minute and canceling up to 24 hours before if plans change. I reckon as long as you sort it out 3-5 days before arriving in a place, you'll get good places that suit your pocket. some harder cities though will be Barcelona and Madrid from recent travels there. San Sebastian also stung the pocket when winging it on the day if arrival. Ouch. Also, consider sites like Tripping.com, Triptrotting and airbandb for being hosted or renting a room in a flat. over 7 years ago
