Hello Antuela, About shoes in India: The main thing to consider is you will be leaving your shoes outside historical buildings, shops, cafes and some hotels - so make sure they are easy to get on and off. Slip-ons are best. India has lots of shoe shops, so you can even choose more shoes when you get there! Enjoy your trip. Hello Yusaf, If you want to see the major tourist sites like Golden Triangle (Taj etc), then you should book a package tour. You can also consider taking a rest after all the touring and stay on a few days in Goa. Packages sometimes offer that. If you want to 'do it yourself' it is surprisingly easy. Just decide which airport you want to enter India by, book flights on-line and book into a good hotel in that area. Best to get a good hotel for first two or three nights while you settle in. Wander round the local area and after a day or two, you will have met many people who can find you everything - from tours, internal flights, trains, a car with driver, good cheap accommodation etc. You can plan as you go and its great fun. Just remember to confirm your flight home and turn up at the airport! Best wishes, Malabar Cove Beach Houses North Kerala almost 7 years ago
You could do the crazy exploring tour called The Golden Triangle - Delhi, Agra, Jaipur. Then fly to a beach in Goa or Kerala for a holiday! about 7 years ago
