Can I use my iPad in Cuba? Do I need an adapter for the charger?

Hi there, I am a 46 year young female widow. I would like to travel to Cuba for two week this coming winter. This will be my first trip outside Canada and the USA. I would like to stay in a casa with a family.and experience the community with the music , arts and food. I also would like to volunteer time with children.
