Whats the best pre-paid 3G SIM with data in Italy?
Pock one up at any of the major carriers' stores (TIM, Wind, 3, Vodafone). The SIM'll cost about €10 and it'll already have about €5 of traffic on it. Just be sure, before you leave home, that your phone's at least a tri-band! over 8 years ago

How to buy a sim card in Italy for a small period of time? Which one? I have an iPhone so Internet connectivity would be handy.
Any of the cellphone carriers (Wind, Tim, 3, Vodafone) will sell you a pay-as-you-go SIM or Micro-SIM. Costs about €10 and usually comes with about €5 worth of traffic on it. You'll have to buy a data plan for Internet, but you can also rely on wifi instead. Many hotels, restaurants, bars and bookstores provide free wifi! over 8 years ago

My wife & I r planning a 7 day mini vacation to Italy on a sort of tight budget. Places to visit. Things to see? Nice economical hotels?
Florence is less than two hours from Rome on the fast train, and is a beautiful, intriguing and very walk able city! You'll find some of the most important art collections in the world with masterpieces like Michelangelo's David and Botticelli's Birth of Venus, the magnificent Duomo, the suggestive Ponte Vecchio and so much more. We have great restaurants for all tastes and budgets - you can dine in high style or chow down with the locals at the local trippaio's stand! For inexpensive hotels, try the Oltrarno neighborhood. Two reliable places: Residence San Frediano and Hotel Silla. over 8 years ago

Can we find Mc Donnald everywhere in Italy,France and Spain?
Ciao monchita22, I can tell you that here in Florence, like in most major Italian cities, the Golden Arches are present and accounted for! In the center of Florence you'll find three: one inside Santa Maria Novella station, one across the street from the station and another on Via Cavour, near the duomo. Surely not as abundant as in most smallish american towns but... they're here! If you're traveling with kids and they're craving a little of home, there's nothing wrong with treating them to a Happy Meal. Don't let anyone lay a guilt trip on you - you and those kids are here to have fun! over 8 years ago
