Road trip for the free pass for US national parks

All three are fantastic. You will need 3 or so days at each if you are to see more than the brief tourist views. There are many miles and hours between spots so plan accordingly. Fantastic parks! over 8 years ago

    Amsterdam Layover advice

Follow the signs in the airport terminal to the train station. In the terminal, there are large lockers in which you can store unneeded luggage that you won't have to haul around Take the train to Centraal Station to downtown Amsterdam. There is SO much to see and do, depends on your tastes, likes and dislikes (museums, cafes, restaurants, red light district, canals, rent a bike, pot shops, etc.). All within walking distance. My layover was only 7 hours so I cannot vouch for hotels, but check out tripadvisor for ratings and reviews. Enjoy! Well worth it. almost 7 years ago

Where are the safest areas for a solo female Tripper to explore Kiev?

My wife and I were in Kiev this past May. She would regularly walk about and take taxis on her own while I was in meetings. The central city, independence square, the parliament area, the various cathedrals, churches and noteworthy sights were all in safe areas. We didn't experience any problems, and in fact were met with nothing but warm, friendly and helpful people. over 8 years ago
