    Trendy capsule hotels in Tokyo?

There is one in the heart of the electronic area, akihabara. It's the cheapest way to sleep in Japan. Be ready for some extreme snoring ! Men and women are always on separate floors and your 'room' is only accessible from a certain hour on. All capsules have radio, tv and a fishy 'insert coin' machine attached to the tv.... Your luggage can be locked at the lobby's luggage rack. You swap your shoes for flip flops at the entrance . Great experience that you repeat during your trip trough Japan. over 7 years ago

    Backpacking in Japan?

Beside ryokans, you'll have to stay at tube hotels. Cheap and it's an experience you'll never forget. Travel by train and buy your train pass in your home country = much cheaper ! Japan is not as expensive as people say, just spend your cash wisely ;) over 7 years ago

    How many days in Xi'an?

I suggest around 3 days. We had to stay 6 because of the sold out train tickets... Way too long :) Terra cota Army is not as wooow as you think, but you cant miss it. The pagoda is oke... It's not china most beautiful city but the people are very friendly and helpfull! Han tang inn is one of the best hostels in all china ! The roof terrace is a great spot to relax after exploring the city.( near the hostel is a sales point of traintickets= less queue than the station) Btw. Do not miss the yungyang caves near datong = beautifull !! Hope it's helpfull :) over 7 years ago
