What are some off the beaten path activities or adventures in Panama? Looking for those must-do but not well known jems.
Boquete is no longer off the beaten path, but its a wonderful town w/ lots of off the beaten path things to do. I suggest that you contact Armando at Ecotour Guides. He knows the whole region and can help you get to some amazing places you would not do on your own. over 7 years ago
If whitewater excitement is what you are seeking, the Chiriqui Viejo is much better. The Rio Fonseca is a much easier river w/ smaller rapids. We use very small inflatables on the Fonseca, and large rafts on the CV. over 7 years ago
Any recommendations for accomodations in Manuel Antinio Costa Rica. Would like ocean view, with terrace. Nice pool and clean.
I take my groups to Hotel California. Ask for an upper room. The sunsets are unbeatable, the pool and poolside restaurant are excellent. over 7 years ago
A must do recommendation near San Jose, Costa Rica? We already did rafting in Pacuare and Tortuguero expedition..... Thoughts???
How much time do you have, and do you want to hire a private guide? My good friend is an awesome guide and can take you to off-the-beaten-path waterfalls, hikes, local restaurants, plus you'll see so much more w/ a guide. My friend has been guiding for my commercial trips for years, and everyone one loves him! It all depends on what you want to do. almost 8 years ago
Is it a good idea to rent a car in San Jose and move from there to the other turistic places? I plan it to be our hub. Thanks.
I would not make San Jose your hub. I would rent a car and move from area to area. Too much time will be spent travelling to / from the SJ area when you could be enjoying yourself relaxing or exploring. almost 8 years ago
The best route is along the coast through Jaco, Quepos and Dominical about 8 years ago
