Hong kong and Macau Transport Question
Hi! I love Hong Kong, its so easy to get around, the food is awesome and there are some great little places to explore. Catch a train from the airport to Tsim Sha Tsui train station, you can then either walk to your hostel or catch a taxi. Download the maps on your phone before you travel, turn you international roaming off (that way you still have access to the map). Rough estimate for train from airport to hotel - USD8 / taxi USD60 To take the ferry to Macau, you can catch a ferry to Central from Tsim Sha Tsui then catch the ferry to Macau. Its easy and there is a ferry every 10mins or so. I'd suggest you take a taxi on arrival in Macau to your hotel, there is an undercover air-conditioned walkway but its a bit far. Alternatively, ask your hotel if there is a free shuttle to collect you. almost 5 years ago

I am already in Thailand. Traveling to Cambodia do I need Malaria Vacination?
I would definitely recommend getting Malaria preventative medication as well as take some precautions re mosquito bites. Long sleeves, light colored clothing and not too much perfume. Burn mozzie repellent at night and if your budget extends, get air conditioning. The bigger issue is Dengue! almost 5 years ago

I will be travelling to Australia for a year long working holiday. What are the top tips you'd recommend for staying safe?
Depending on where you go in Australia - its relatively safe. Every large city has its own dangers, so just be mindful of not walking alone at night in dark alleys (just as you would at home). If you do find yourself in an emergency situation - call 000 (ambulance, fire, police). over 5 years ago

Any ladies have their IUD fall out while traveling and need a new one inserted?
Hi there, We’re really sorry that this has happened to you. We highly recommend you attend a local clinic and speak directly to a medical officer as they are in a better position of providing advice. New Zealand is a centre of medical excellence, and therefore any local GOP clinic or hospital can accommodate you. Lisa - Emergency Assistance World Nomads over 5 years ago
