I'm heading to Thailand for three weeks this summer and wondering what would be the best route? Three main things adventure sun and alcohol

You'll certainly be getting plenty of sun, adventure and alcohol in Thailand. When you say what will be the best route, do you mean from your home country or internally? over 6 years ago

Namibia-any recommendations for most scenic campsites in Eastern Namibia?

We did a road-trip around Namibia a few years ago and honestly - EVERY campsite we stayed at was totally amazing! Etosha National Park, sossusvlei, Spitzkoppe, Twyfelfontein, Groetfontein, to name a few. My all time favourite was Ngepi where we "camped" in a tree house overlooking the Kavango river and Okavango delta. http://www.ngepicamp.com Amazing! over 6 years ago

Favourite Brisbane restaurant in Il Centro. Slightly pricey, but worth every single cent! over 6 years ago

What is your advice on malaria medication for Goa, India? Many different opinions online.

There has been an increase in malaria cases since 2012, so probably best to take a precaution, especially if you plan on being there for a month. over 6 years ago

    Boats from Lombok to Sulavesi

Pelni offer a ferry service from Bali (Padang Bai) to Sulewesi that stops off in Lombok (Lembar as well as Mataram I think) and Flores (Labuan Bajo). It takes quite a few days to do though, I think it may also stop in Sumba. We looked at this route last year but then decided the short flights on Lion Air meant more time on the ground for play. We saw the Pelni car ferry in Labuan Bajo and it looked quite decent. over 6 years ago

I will be in Paris in July by train from London what's the best transportation from the train station?

Hi Ashley, The taxi app is great, but I did find taxis in Paris quite expensive. The metro is just so easy and cheap (12 euros for 10 tickets), so depending on where in Paris you're heading, its only really going to cost you about 2 euros (maximum). A few other great apps to download are the WorldNomads language guides (WN French for you!), and also TripGuide. Download before you go so that you don't waste any data download on your telco plan. Have fun! Lisa over 6 years ago

    5 Days on Flores Island

Head down to the wharf in Labuan Bajo and find yourself a friendly fisherman who will take you out for a few days around the island. Sleeping on the boat is heaven, as is diving in the water for snorkelling with manta rays, seahorse, and loads of other stunning sealife. Obviously you cant go to Flores without a visiting Komodo Dragons. Both Rinca and Komodo Island are fairly the same, but my pick is Komodo. A quick visit to the village is fun, take some local currency to exchange with the locals who seem to be given a lot of foreign notes from the cruise ship visitors. We also went trekking up the mountains behind Labuan Bajo to the most magnificent waterfalls and bat caves. A hard trek, but worth it. Don't wear white! If you need a good hotel recommendation - I can suggest Golo Hilltop. almost 7 years ago

Information sought regarding riding/hiring motorcycle to ride from Lhasa to Kathmandu in April.

Hi Phil Sounds like a really great trip, and the perfect time of year to go! Hiring a bike in Lhasa and self touring would be extremely difficult, (you will definitely need a guide a motorbike permit in Tibet). Have you considered doing it in the reverse - ie from Kathmandu to Lhasa along the Friendship highway? You'll need to arrange your visas and permits before you travel, as well as find a decent guide to travel with you. My husband was looking into this for his birthday, and found a company called Blazing Trails in New Delhi - they do tours across Nepal and Tibet and may be able to help you. http://www.blazingtrailstours.com Good luck!
