Does anyone have a recommendation for a cheap, airport based hotel in Darwin Australia for a 24 hour stopover please?

There is a Rydges Darwin Airport hotel which provides a shuttle service. Its clean and close to the airport, suitable for late arrivals or early departures. They have a swimming pool, cafe, restaurant etc so if you don't plan on exploring the town, this is an ideal overnighter. I've stayed here overnight transiting between Sydney and Timor Leste. over 7 years ago

    Vietnam and Cambodia visas

On entering Cambodia a US citizen can purchase a one month tourist visa, make sure you take along a passport photo. For Vietnam, you will need to apply prior to entry. You cannot obtain a visa on arrival and will be deported if you try to enter without one. Getting a visa can either be done at the Vietnamese Embassy in the States, or if you plan on being in Cambodia first, you can arrange one through the embassy there. It will take up to 7 days (at most). For additional fee you can have it processed within 1 day. Your hotel may be able to assist with facilitating this as well. You also must have a passport with at least 6 months left on it. As for Costa Ricans - not sure. You may be able to find some more info here: http://cambodia.visahq.com/ over 7 years ago

Where can I dine out and eat healthy food in Manhattan?

Manhattan is a 24/7 city with a lot of fantastic places to eat. I found a few organic cafes in Soho that were great. In most places the food was delicious, prices affordable and mostly customer service was OK. Also, the meat packing district has some great little restaurants that serve fresh salads, fish etc without that melted cheesy cream stuff that seems to be n everything in the States. If you want a nice sunset place - The Standard for pre dinner drinks is stunning. over 7 years ago

Where to stay nearby Ulaanbaatar city?

If you are backpacking or a solo traveller, I would suggest UB Guesthouse so that you can meet and mix with other travellers. over 7 years ago

I heard of a place called GOA in India which is supposed to have fabulous beaches. Could someone verify this please?

Goa has some amazing beaches, but far from relaxing. There are many hawkers, tourists etc - BUT the sand is white and the water is blue. over 7 years ago

I am travelling alone going to Sydney, Australia.

Sydney is very expensive and I when I suggest budgets for people I normally recommend a daily allowance of: $20 breakfast $20 lunch $40 dinner $20 travel Of course this can be scaled down for a budget traveller or up for a traveller with a bigger wallet. over 7 years ago

Leaving for Sydney, Australia jan-march. In need off organic store or vegetarian resturant. Any tips??

Two of my favourite vegetarian restaurants in Sydney are - Harvest in Rozelle - Lauries in Bondi I agree with Michelle, Iku are another favourite (lots of them around Sydney including Paddington, Glebe, CBD). Crown Street Surry Hills also has some great little vegetarian cafes. As we are so close to Asia, we also have some great asian restaurants that will offer vegetarian options.
