Do you know of any bath house in Sydney? I went to the one near King's Cross, but it's still close. Any suggestions?

There is the Korean Bath House (is that the one you went to?) as well as the Ginseng Bath House. The Korean one is more of an authentic bathhouse while the Ginseng one is a bit more luxury. I have also heard of the Turkish baths in Sydney but cant seem to get any info on it. over 8 years ago

Hi can anyone suggest a hotel in Melbourne near city budget S$100-150 with free wifi please.

I have always been lucky booking last minute accommodation through www.lastminute.com.au and also www.agoda.com I chose a hotel recently in Melbourne through Lastminute by booking their Mystery Hotel for $150 and was surprised to booked into a 5 star hotel close to everything! They called it the Paris end, I still cant work that one out. Another one I sometimes I stay at is Mantra Apartments - same price. over 8 years ago

Is $1999 a good deal to go to china Beijing for 7 days it includes hotel stays all nights all fees to main tourist attractions daily meals

A good deal is one you are happy to part with your money for. And one without any hidden clauses! I always read the fine print now after paying for a cheap airfare only to have it cancelled. over 8 years ago

visiting Cambodia, staying at golden temple hotel. how many days is enough, local foods, interesting places nearby etc. thanks.

I stayed in the same hotel - was comfortable. Its central to some great little restaurants and cafes, but I ddint really feel too safe at night while walking by myself. I teamed up with some people and this was fine. Its about a 5 minute tuk tuk ride to the central markets which is good. A week would be more than enough for me in one place (ie Phnom Penh) - but it just depends on what your interests are. I like to take a day or two to get over any climate issues and culture shock before getting "into it". But thats me. over 8 years ago

is visa needed to visit east timor

Make sure you get the stamp as well - we had an issue when departing Dilli because we didnt check to see if they stamped our passport. Had horrible thoughts of being detained until it was sorted. Also - you need to pay departure tax as well. (We'd spent our local money on last minute souvenirs at the airport, and had to go back outside to the ATM) Oh the joys of travel. over 8 years ago

Planing to study in Australia. Any tips or something?

Hi Maria, My advice is to plan it well in advance - Australia is a great country with a lot of opportunities, but is also very expensive! Perhaps consider a part time job while you study. This is a great way to earn some money and also meet some locals. If you can make a decent cup of coffee, it won’t be hard to find a job. I really love Melbourne, it’s well known for its culture and colour as well as some fantastic restaurants and cafes. But every other city in Aus also offers some amazing experiences. Sydney – my home town – is stunning, but not as friendly as other cities. Perth is very laid back and casual and quite pioneering. If you’re not keen on being in a major city – Australia has some really great little coastal towns. It really just depends on what interests you. Lisa over 8 years ago
