Has a 2-3 hour layover in Milan (en route to Pescara)... thoughts on how I may best use this time...?

Which airport are you flying into? If it's the major one, Malpensa (MPX), then you can hop on a 30min train into Cadorna station and then hop on the metro for a few stops to Duomo station. You won't have too much time but if you're quick then you can easily check out the Duomo (cathedral) and the Galleria (shopping) and possibly the Castello (old castle). All walking distance from each other. almost 7 years ago
